Car Audio Crossovers – Why You Can not Do without them?

I heard the question repeatedly: "Do I really need a crossover waste? No time I quickly answer:" Yes, do you. "Whether it's a crossover or a crossover, your car audio system will never sound good without a crossover . I would like very clear here, so before you speak is confusing to a crossover car audio, and why you need it.

A cross is a filtering device which limits the frequencies that reach a speaker. It splits a music signal into different frequency ranges and sends them to speakers that designed to replicate the best for each frequency range. For example, only high frequencies would be sent to your tweeters, midrange and mid-range speakers and subwoofer depths.

The crossover is very common. It is installed basically a capacitor or coil on the speaker leads between amplifier and speakers to achieve that certain frequencies to a speaker holds. Itto install, relatively inexpensive and easy.

But if your car stereo, to be more successful and effective, you need a crossover, which also functions as an electronic filter. It is installed between your head unit or equalizer, and your amplifier. Your electronic crossover sends the proper frequency for each amplifier. Some people run three separate amps: one for bass, midrange and one for one for the treble.

Active filters are almost infinitely adjustable. You canvary the crossover points and adjust the level of separate speakers to get the best sound of all of your vehicle receive.

If you are serious about my sound, you need a crossover car audio. Otherwise, your system will sound terrible. Oh what a mess it will be when your subwoofer and midrange loudspeakers double many of the same frequency! Do you know when you tried to reach your mid-range speakers and a high score, that will manage your tweeters. Can you carry this pain? Iit can not.

And this is just the beginning of your grief and pain. Since low frequencies are sent to your tweeters there will be distortions. Be destroyed as a result of this distortion your tweeters. Bass sounds eventually destroy your speakers medium power, as well. Now you have to start from scratch and buy a new set of speakers, because you started on a wrong footing.
